Tractor Supply EVP, general counsel retiring

In form 8-K form filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Tractor Supply Company reported that Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Ben Parrish is retiring from the company.

Under terms of a transmission agreement, Parish has agreed to continue in his role until his successor is found. 

He will also assist in the transition of his duties for a period of 30 days after his successor is employed by Tractor Supply. Additionally, if requested by the retailer, Parish will continue to assist in the transition until March 31.

Parish has served in his current position since February 2016. He previously served as SVP, general counsel and corporate secretary at Tractor Supply from 2010 to 2016. 

Prior to joining Tractor Supply Company, Parish served as EVP and general counsel of MV Transportation, Inc., a transportation services company, from September 2008 to 2010.

Tractor Supply, based in Brentwood, Tenn., operates 1,900 stores in 49 states along with 180 Petsense specialty stores in 25 states.
