In Texas, RoyOMartin hails OSB plant expansion
The company says it's now the 'largest facility of its kind in North America.'
RoyOMartin, a lumber company founded in Louisiana in 1923, recently celebrated the grand opening of the expansion of Corrigan OSB, L.L.C., the company's Texas subsidiary based in the town of Corrigan. According to the company, this expansion makes its oriented strand board manufacturing facility the largest of its kind in North America.
The ceremony drew more than 200 attendees, including company partners, community leaders and Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Following a tour of the new facility, Governor Abbott touted the booming Texas economy and discussed the housing market.

“We are proud that Texas is home to a booming manufacturing sector,” Governor Abbott said. “Corrigan OSB’s expanded manufacturing facility will provide needed, high-quality building materials to Texas’ growing economy. Thanks to our manufacturing sector, ‘Made in Texas’ has never been a bigger brand.”
The company says the new facility will significantly increase the mill’s size and production capacity (by approximately 43 percent) annually and provide a total of 300 jobs at the mill.
