You can read about all 50 honorees here in the digital issue of HBSDealer. Additionally, HBSDealer.com will highlight a handful of honorees each week, working our way from Alabama to Wyoming. Here, the All Star showcase continues with three more from Florida, Georgia and Hawaii.

Here is Savannah’s one-stop-shop for the DIYer. Under new owner Kyle Adai, Maycrest Hardware opened a new rental center, engaged in a store renovation and expanded its shelves with thousands of new items. During the transformation, the store maintained its friendly, neighborhood feel. An outdoor kitchen showroom and an impressive selection of Diablo tools are also highlights.  Maycrest Hardware enjoys a tradition of serving Savannah since 1960.

Tanaka was once renowned for manufacturing tin lunch containers called bento bakos—two-part, round, stackable containers that held rice in the lower container with the main course on top. Today, this All Star is a full-service dealer known around the island as the place that carries “a whole lot of stuff.” Fourth-generation proprietor Lori Tanaka Koga took over as president in 2021.
