Stanley said it’s Control-Lock tape measures, “put you in total charge from tape blade reach to tape retraction.”
Stanley, a Stanley Black & Decker brand, has launched Control-Lock tape measures designed for strength, reach and measuring control.
These tapes range from 12-foot to 30-foot and feature a rugged, yet lightweight compact design equipped with an integrated finger brake, providing users with maximum control and protection when extending and retracting the blade, said the firm.
“Stanley Control-Lock tapes are engineered to strike the perfect balance between size, performance and comfort - empowering tradespeople to tackle any job with confidence and ease,” said Peter Gabriele, group product manager of tapes at Stanley Black & Decker.
Stanley Control-Lock tapes include the following features: Pro-grade performance with 1-inch blade width and 12-foot max reach; protective rubber over-molded casing; and BladeArmor coating treated to the first 3-inches for durability and abrasion resistance.
The Control-Lock line-up is comprised of 12-foot, 16-foot, 25-foot, 8M/26-foo and 30-foot tapes sold in recyclable packaging, marking an important step forward in minimizing single use plastic from this packaging style, said the company.
