SRS Distribution makes 100th acquisition

SRS Distribution announced today that it has acquired Weatherpanel, Inc., a distributor of residential and commercial roofing, siding, windows and doors, and related products. 

The move marks the 100th acquisition by SRS Distribution since its founding in 2008. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y., Weatherpanel was founded in 1948 and is currently run by Frank Vacanti and Maria Wrafter. 

Frank joined Weatherpanel in 1978 and has served as president since 1991, with Maria joining in 1994 and acting as vice president since 2002. Frank and Maria will continue to lead the company’s team under the Weatherpanel banner.

The move expands SRS Distribution’s presence in the western New York market. SRS also operates B&L Wholesale Supply in Buffalo.
