SPAX PowerLags Screws win award
SPAX PowerLags Structural Fasteners have been named a winner in the Pro Tool Innovation Awards (PTIA) in the category of Fasteners – Structural Screws. The company's wide range of fasteners and screws are German-engineered and manufactured in the U.S.
The Pro Tool Innovation Awards program recognizes stand-out tools and fasteners that provide excellent value, advanced features and the newest innovations. Winners are featured on the Pro Tool Review website for shaping the industry.
“This is an incredible win for us,” said Matthew Smith, director of product management, Altenloh, Brinck & Co. “The PTIA Award shines a spotlight on SPAX as a structural fastener leader in the industry and makes PowerLags a natural choice for any structural project.”
SPAX PowerLags patented thread serrations eliminate the need for pre-drilling in wood, which can reduce installation time and labor costs by up to 40 percent, according to the company. The serrations also minimize the risk of splitting wood, enhancing the structural integrity of the build.
