Southwest Material Handling acquires ProCon JCB

The deal brings Southwest Material Handling multiple branches in high-growth western markets.

Locations acquired by Southwest Material Handling are now operating as Southwest JCB.

Southwest Material Handling, Inc. announced that it has acquired ProCon JCB. 

The combined branches are now operating as Southwest JCB under the parent company Southwest Material Handling, Inc. 

Based in Mira Loma, Calif., Southwest Material Handling is a provider of material-handling equipment, construction equipment, warehouse solutions, power generation, rental equipment, and full-spectrum parts and service solutions. 

Kirt Litte, CEO and president of Southwest Material Handling said the acquisition of ProCon JCB significantly expands Southwest JCB's reach into multiple high-growth western markets. 

The deal brings on board branches in Commerce City, Colo.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Las Cruces, N.M.; El Paso, Texas; and Las Vegas, Nev.

The overall company now has nearly 300 employees operating out of eight facilities across six states.

"ProCon JCB is an award-winning dealer known for providing great customer service and we look forward to continuing that tradition."

Southwest JCB will be led by former ProCon CEO and owner Nic DiPaulo.

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
