SKIL has introduced the PwrCore 12 brushless 12V compact detail sander kit.

“This cordless detail sander,” said the company, “packs big power into a compact design with a digital brushless motor that delivers up to 12,000 oscillations per minute or OPM.”

The compact, transparent design of its integrated dust box improves balance, visibility, and maneuverability while avoiding contact with the battery.

Change out sandpapers quickly with the hook-and-loop pad. With no cleaning tools needed, the sander can be easily emptied and cleaned out.

Work comfortably and confidently, said the firm, with a low-profile, soft overmold that provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip and sealed dust switch that prevents switch failures.

Founded in 1926 and based in Naperville, Illinois, SKIL power tools is a subsidiary of Chervon (not to be confused with oil company Chevron), a company based in Nanjing, China.
