Simpson Strong-Tie promotes new VP
A company veteran will now oversee 'residential digital solutions.'
Simpson Strong-Tie has promoted Scott Lang to the newly created role of vice president, market development for residential digital solutions. According to the company, Lang will refine customer segmentation and develop market strategies for expanding Simpson Strong-Tie's residential digital solutions, including spearheading new initiatives and creating strategies that cater to customer needs.
Lang has worked with Simpson Strong-Tie for seven years, most recently serving as technology sales manager for National Builder / Pro Supply, where he consulted with the top 30 homebuilders. His extensive career experience includes a range of sales management roles at several construction software solution providers.

“I am very excited to step into this challenging role for Simpson Strong-Tie. My experience and industry knowledge combined with a world-class support system will drive our growth in digital solutions and contribute to our 2030 goals,” Lang said.
“With his eight years spent as a software writer, 10 years of experience in the homebuilding industry and many years of selling software solutions, we know that Scott will thrive in this new role,” said Noah Daniels, senior vice president, market development for digital solutions.
Lang has a bachelor’s degree in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University.
