Ryobi has introduced its largest and most powerful cordless chainsaw to date: The 40V HP brushless 20-inch chainsaw.
“This 40V HP technology delivers more power, runtime, durability and speed, utilizing brushless motors, advanced electronics and high-performance lithium technology,” said the company.
Users can expect up to 200 cuts per charge with the 40V 8Ah battery included in the kit configuration, said the firm. Additional features include kickback protection from the chain brake and increased leverage while cutting with metal bucking spikes.
Ryobi said its chainsaw can, “cut large trees and logs up to 36 inches in diameter with its 20-inch bar and chain. The automatic oiler allows for convenient chain lubrication and longer chain life.”
This chainsaw is part of the 40V system of more than 85 cordless products that are all compatible with the same battery.
The kit includes a 40V 8Ah lithium battery and 40V rapid charger for four times faster charging of the battery in 80 minutes.
