Russin debuts Summit Rainscreen Systems
Russin, the New York building products distributor and manufacturer, is launching a new brand of custom wood siding products designed for rainscreen installation.
Summit Rainscreen Systems incorporates options for several wood species with dozens of finish choices and the ability to “customize to infinity.” All choices within the Summit portfolio are designed for both horizontal and vertical installation.
Capitalizing on the latest building science, Summit Rainscreen Systems is designed for a hidden-clip installation which creates a ¾” rainscreen for air and moisture flow behind the siding. This system ensures the best moisture management within the wall assembly, and thus ensures the longest possible life cycle for the siding.
With multiple wood species and finishes on offer, Summit allows customers a wide range of choices to create the unique façade of their dreams.
All Summit products are produced from Russin-distributed wood species at Russin facilities – since all the milling and finishing is done under one umbrella, saying yes to custom options is easy and lead times are easily controllable.
