Russin announced it has purchased the production assets of Golla Enterprises, a factory finisher formerly located in Toms River, N.J.
With this acquisition, Russin will be able to further expand its factory finishing footprint and offer an even higher level of finishing service to its growing customer base. Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Russin has been offering factory finishing services since 1997 and is currently constructing a brand new, state-of-the-art finishing facility, expected to open in December. The new facility, located across the street from Russin’s Montgomery, N.Y. headquarters, will give the company improved efficiency, easier access to Russin’s pipeline of raw materials, and improved workflow.
By adding the assets acquired from Golla Enterprises, Russin’s efficiency and ability to service its customers will only increase further, the company said.
Russin’s finishing business is heavily focused on customization. Combined with the company’s in-house milling capabilities, Russin Factory Finishing can offer virtually any wood species and profile, coated in a wide range of tones ranging from clear coats to opaque finishes.
By partnering with major paint and stain companies such as Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams, Russin noted that it can say “yes to just about anything, quickly.”
Russin Lumber is a manufacturer and distributor of building materials covering 13 Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. The company owns and operates distribution, milling, and factory finishing facilities.
