Russin adds rock star to sales team

Russin has announced the hire of Mike Catalina to the company’s outside sales team. 

A dynamic industry veteran with great ideas and insight, Catalina comes to Russin with entrenched business contacts and the creativity that is required to thoughtfully pursue new business in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.

Catalina is based in Delmar, N.Y., and comes to Russin utilizing experience gained from a career in leadership roles with major building product dealers and suppliers, the company said. 

He has one child and a wide variety of interests outside of work, including taking walks with his two corgis, Anakin and Kylo Ren and his role as guitarist for Upstate New York’s “premier: Motley Crue tribute band, Livewire 518. 

Within the industry he can list a broad range of accomplishments both in sales and distribution management, according to Russin. The company also noted that his varied experience both at work and in his personal life shape his role as a thought leader within the building products industry.

Russin is a manufacturer and distributor of building materials covering 13 Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. 

The company owns and operates distribution, milling, and factory finishing facilities in Montgomery, N.Y.
