Rural King opens two more stores
Rural King is opening a store in Waycross, Ga., and in Rocky Mount, N.C. Grand opening celebrations for both stores will be held Nov. 15-17.
It's the sixth new store opening for the Illinois-based retailer this year.
The new Waycross store, located at 2215 Memorial Drive, and also the Rocky Mount store (situated at 720 Sutters Creek Blvd.) will include mobile and self-checkouts.

The Waycross and Rocky Mount stores carry various brands, including Carhartt, Blackstone, Green Egg, Ariat, Under Armour, Black Rifle Coffee Company, Walnut Creek Foods and Henry Rifles. Rural King also offers products for livestock, pets, birds, automotive needs, power equipment, power tools, grilling and cleaning products. The new stores will also carry heating and cooling items, outdoor patio décor, toys, home décor and sporting goods.
Founded in 1960 by Kermit Speer and Keith Beaird in Mattoon, Ill., Rural King now operates more than 130 stores in 14 states.
