Rural King opening store in N.C.
Rural King, a family-owned retailer with more than 130 stores in 13 states, is its newest store in Conover, N.C. Grand opening festivities will take place from Friday, Sep. 20 through Sunday, Sep. 22, featuring discounts on many items throughout the store. RK Rewards loyalty members will earn double points on qualifying purchases and can enter to win 100 gift cards worth up to $2,500, according to the company.
Founded in 1960 in Mattoon, Ill., Rural King continues to expand in rural communities throughout the U.S. The new Conover store location, located at 508 NW 10th St. Suite K, uses features designed to enhance the shopping experience, including mobile and self-checkouts.

Rural King offers products for livestock, pets, birds, automotive needs, power equipment, power tools, grilling, food and snacks, and cleaning products. As the seasons change, customers can find heating and cooling items, outdoor patio décor, pools, toys, home décor, and sporting goods.
Rural King also supports local initiatives, including youth organizations like 4-H and FFA, as well as veterans and first responders through partnerships with organizations like the Gary Sinise Foundation.
