In operation for over 71 years and a fixture in the New London, N.H. community, Clarke’s Hardware has undergone a change in ownership. Rocky’s Ace Hardware, a family-owned business with neighborhood-based stores in eight states, is the new owner and operator of the store.

“As a fellow family-owned and operated company, we can promise to maintain the Clarke’s feel,” said Rocky’s Ace Hardware President and CEO Rocco Falcone. “It is our goal to be the choice for customers in New London seeking expertise, exceptional customer service and a vast product selection in paint, hardware and lawn and garden.”

Falcone furthered, “We recognize that our success is due to the members of the communities in which our stores are located. We truly make a concerted effort to give back and will seek out ways to give back across the New London community.”

In addition to investing in the community, Falcone intends to invest in the facility itself, with a series of planned improvements and a more expansive product inventory.

“Our tagline is ‘experience the difference,’” said Falcone. “And our New London customers will experience this in terms of more offerings. However, they should rest assured that all of the employees of the former Clarke’s will remain on staff so they will continue to have familiar faces serving them.”
