Regal Ideas, the aluminum railing systems manufacturer, announced that company president Ernie Couillard is retiring from the company.
Couillard is leaving the company after more than 20 years of service with Regal Ideas.
Effective immediately, Andrew Pantelides, vice president of marketing and business development, will be taking over responsibilities from Couillard. This includes sales and strategy for the company, Regal said in a press release.
“Although we will miss Ernie, he has worked hard throughout his career and has earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with family and friends,” Pantelides said, “Ernie has helped build the strong foundation that we will build upon. Our focus remains on our core principles of people, products, service, and communities.”
Additional senior management structural changes have also been made to Regal’s executive team.
Joe Jacklin, director of marketing and contractor development, is adding Sales Canada to his portfolio.
Jim Topliss, director of commercial development, will be responsible for working with architects focusing on multi-family and commercial projects in North America.
Clifton Phelps has transitioned into the role of director of dealer development that will focus on timely program initiative rollouts for new and existing dealers, growth opportunities, merchandising, and marketing programs for dealers across Canada.
Joining the marketing team is 23-year veteran Leela Varanasi as marketing and sales coordinator.
Melinda Okmanas has also recently been hired as the company’s marketing and brand development specialist. Melinda is an interior designer and previously a merchant for Chalifour/Orgill Canada.
Quinton Weber, director of sales USA, will continue to grow the brand in the United States.
“Putting the right people in place to manage this growth is imperative to our dealer’s success,” Jacklin said. “This team, and all our Regal family, are well-positioned to assist retailers to drive sales and success to their stores.”
Regal Ideas is based in Delta, British Columbia.
