The Week 37 Quikrete Industry Dashboard shows average U.S. gas prices continue to drop ($3.23) compared with last month's average ($3.44). Current gas prices are much lower than last year's nationwide average of $3.84 in mid-September 2023, per AAA's data.
In LBM industry stock news, Masco (+44.7 percent), Sherwin-Williams (+40.5 percent) and Builders FirstSource (+33.4 percent) have all shown huge annual gains so far in 2024. Stanley Black & Decker, Home Depot, Lowe's and Tractor Supply, meanwhile, experienced positive jumps from last month. Beacon's stock dipped just over 3 percent in the past month.
