In the latest Quikrete Industry Dashboard, average prices at the gas pump are up from $3.75 per gallon a year ago to $3.80 per gallon as of September 7, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).

But gas prices have dropped slightly from a national average of $3.82 one month ago.

Consumer confidence is at 106, as of August 29, as reported by The Conference Board, down from 114 in July.

On Wall Street, Lowe’s was up just over 4% from the previous month and The Home Depot was nearly flat on a month-over-month basis.

Builders FirstSource stock price was at $139.18, down more than 7% from the prior month at $152.22 but ahead from a year ago at $58.68.

Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc., was at $77.69, down 8% from $86 in the previous month but ahead from a year ago at $55.29.
