In the latest Quikrete Industry Dashboard, average prices at the gas pump are down from $4.00 per gallon a year ago to $3.84 per gallon as of Aug. 10, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).
But gas prices have inched up from a national average of $3.82 in the week prior.
On Wall Street, Builders FirstSource stock prices moved ahead better than 11% over the prior month.
The Home Depot and Sherwin-Williams also saw 6.2% increases on a month-over-month basis.
Thhe week of Aug. 14 through Aug. 18 will include the latest updates on housing starts and permits (Aug. 16) along with the latest on Builder Confience (Aug. 15) from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Also, keep an eye out for Advanced Monthly Retail Sales for NAICS 444, which will be released on Aug. 15
