The latest Quikrete Industry Dashboard features updates across the board of the “Consumer Watch” section: unemployment rate, Consumer Confidence Index and Gas prices.
And the pandemic has wreaked havoc with two out of three. The 11.1% unemployment rate is down from the previous month, but a far cry from the year-ago rate of 3.7%.
Consumer Confidence Index stands at 98.1. That is also up for the month, but well off the 124.3 reading from a year ago.
And gas prices have slowly increased to a national average of $2.18 for a gallon of regular.
