In the latest Quikrete Industry Dashboard, average prices at the gas pump are down from $3.83 per gallon a year ago to $3.77 per gallon as of October 5, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).

Also, gas prices have dropped from a national average of $3.81 one month ago.

Consumer confidence is currently at 103, as reported by The Conference Board, down from 108.7 in September.

On Wall Street, Stanley Black & Decker was down approximately 16% from the previous month and The Home Depot was down 11% compared to last month.

Builders FirstSource stock price was at $119.97, down more than 12% from the prior month at $136.56 but ahead from a year ago at $63.62.

Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc., was at $76.21, off 2% from $78.10 in the previous month but ahead from a year ago at $58.87.
