MoistureShield broadens Elevate decking line
The composite decking manufacturer has introduced Riverbank and Alpine Gray.
MoistureShield’s Elevate capped wood composite decking has added two new premium, variegated colors to the product line: Riverbank and Alpine Gray.
With texture and depth similar to rich, tropical hardwoods, these colors join the classic solid colors of Canoe, a forest brown, and Lake Fog, a soft gray shade. The curated selection of classic and premium color options allow contractors to create stylish, durable outdoor spaces simply and affordably.
“Since the initial launch of Elevate, we’ve received tremendous feedback on its aesthetics and value from both contractors and homeowners,” said Matthew Bruce, vice president of sales at MoistureShield. “The addition of these rich variegated colors to the Elevate offering represents the technology advancement that MoistureShield has become known for, as well as our drive and commitment to push forward with innovation in the decking category.”
With a strong protective cap that shields each board from impact, corrosion, and harsh weather, Elevate adds style and durability to outdoor spaces at an attractive, entry-level price-point. Elevate decking is a budget-friendly option for homeowners to upgrade to the benefits of composites – such as no splinters, increased aesthetics, and low upkeep – without compromising on style.
As with all MoistureShield deck products, Elevate features the Solid Core Difference, a proprietary manufacturing process offering protection against moisture absorption, warping, rotting, and damage from insects. This technology has resulted in zero structural field failures in over 30 years, whether the boards are on the ground, in the ground, or even underwater, MoistureShield said.
Elevate 1 X 6 deck boards are available in 12-foot, 16-foot, and 20-foot lengths in grooved profiles (for hidden fasteners) and 20-foot lengths with a solid edge, as well as fascia boards in 12-foot lengths. Elevate decking is fully protected by a 50-year transferable structural warranty and a 30-year fade and stain warranty.
Based in Atlanta, Ga., MoistureShield is a division of Oldcastle APG, which is part of CRH’s Building Products division.
