PPG has appointed Brad Budde as vice president and chief digital officer, effective Sept. 6.
Reporting directly to Irene Tasi, chief growth officer, Budde will lead the company’s digital strategy and execution to accelerate customer digital engagement with PPG, the paint manufacturer said.
“Brad has a proven track record of developing results-driven digital solutions and customer experiences,” Tasi said. “As we look to further accelerate our digital offering and achieve increased business growth, his knowledge and expertise will play a key role in driving our strategy forward.”
Budde joins PPG from Emerson, a Fortune 500 global technology and software company, where he was vice president, digital customer experience.
During his more than 15 years at Emerson, he held roles of increasing responsibility, including leading the company’s digital product development roadmaps across Emerson.com and MyEmerson, digital engineering tools, e-commerce, sales enablement, and digital analytics.
