PPG launches Versolon brand
PPG announced the launch of PPG Versolon solutions, a newly formed brand designed to simplify PPG’s offerings to light industrial customers including liquid coatings, powder coatings and allied products.
The team of PPG Versolon experts will work alongside OEMs to understand product needs and requirements to deliver coatings and finishes through a variety of distribution channels.
“The combination of a streamlined product offering, and specialist support gives us the opportunity to provide better service to all our customers,” said Daniel Bencun, PPG director commercial coatings, automotive refinish, U.S. and Canada. “PPG Versolon solutions will now make it easier for them to do business with us.”
Local PPG Versolon specialists equip customers with personalized support, local logistics management and delivery service.
PPG said its Versolon solutions represents the merger of the PPG Truefinish brand and Commercial Performance Coatings product line. The result is one streamlined solution servicing a wide range of applications, such as agricultural and construction equipment, trailers, wheels and sheds.
As part of the new suite of PPG Versolon solutions, said the firm, customers have streamlined access to a wide range of coatings designed to deliver protection against aggressive environments, including:
Liquid Coatings – Innovative technologies created to maximize protection while creating efficient production, speed and performance.
Powder Coatings – A wide range of powder technologies from over 300 in-stock RAL colors, as well as a large specialty-effect and ultra-durable library.
Solvents and Allied Products – PPG offers a variety of painting supplies, equipment and accessories to meet customer’s needs and a full range of allied products such as pretreatment, adhesives, sealants and aerosols.
