The power scraper has an air cushion for longer tool life and less user fatigue, and comes with factory grease already packed for reduced maintenance.
Makita U.S.A., Inc., has released the SDS-Plus power scraper (HK1820) featuring a 5.0 amp motor that delivers 0-3,200 BPM and 2.9 foot-pounds of impact energy for demanding applications.
“The new SDS-Plus power scraper is a unique demolition tool for its size, power level, and versatility,” said Rufus Richardson, senior product manager for commercial products, Makita.
The scraper features 12 adjustable bit positions for various material removal applications. It features a quick-change retainer for easy changes.
The HK1820 features an automatic brush cut-off that protects the commutator from damage for longer tool life. It also features 550 watts of continuous power output; and has double insulation for reduced noise.
“It is compact, lightweight, and offers a power level that makes it ideal for a variety of scraping and demolition applications,” said Richardson.
