Obviously, the hardware and building supply industry understands very well that you can't deliver building products or attend a cash register from a home office.
Remote work doesn't work at the frontlines of lumberyards or hardware stores.
But what about the office? Voices from corporate America are calling for a return to full-capacity office buildings, where employees can brainstorm as a team, develop a company culture, mentor and be mentored.
On the other hand, many employees say they are very happy—and very productive—to enjoy the benefits of working from home.
