"During the quarter, we saw customers take on projects throughout their homes," said Home Depot's CEO Craig Menear. "From deck building to painting projects, landscape work and home repairs due to increase wear and tear."
Lowe's saw an ccelleration in both indoor and outdoor projects, said Executive VP Bill Boltz, "including core repair and maintenance, along with projects to repurpose home space for work and study, as well as discretionary indoor and outdoor projects to increase customers' enjoyment of their homes."
