Poll results: Advantage big guys

In a derailed supply chain, bigger is better, say majority of readers.

On an airplane, the frequent flyer gets the upgrade to first class. At a restaurant, it's the big spender who gets the best table.

What about hardware stores, lumberyards and home centers? It stands to reason that the bigger retailers enjoy benefits from (and apply leverage to) their suppliers. In a period of acute supply chain struggles and material shortages, it's appropriate to consider the extent of the large-player advantage.

And according to the results of the latest HBSDealer poll question, bigger is generally regarded to be better suited to handle supply chain disruptions.
