Palmer-Donavin announced that Matt Butzier has been promoted to chief operating officer, a new role for the company.
Butzier will report directly to CEO Robyn Pollina and is responsible for sales and operations for both company’s building material division and door division.
The new COO has 22 years of experience in sales, purchasing, management, and most recently as vice president and general manager of Palmer-Donvain’s building materials division.
“Matt and I will be working closely with the executive team to build the right structure for our future success,” Pollina said. “We are committed to leading Palmer-Donavin with an effective team and increasing shareholder value for years to come."
Pollina recently moved from the CFO role to the CEO role, effective Aug. 1. She replaced retiring CEO Ron Calhoun who continues to serve on Palmer-Donavin's Board of Directors.
“Robyn’s appointment of Matt as chief operating officer, aligns two of our senior leaders’ skillsets that truly complement each other," Calhoun said. "This position alignment reinforces the Palmer- Donavin brand and the unity we find with both divisions. We can leverage our resources to emerge much stronger in the markets we serve."
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Palmer-Donavin distributes building products and fabricates doors.
