NSCS acquiring American Contractors Supply
New South Construction Supply, LLC (NSCS) has signed a letter of intent to acquire American Contractors Supply (ACS), a distributor and supplier of tilt-up products based in Atlanta, Ga.
Based in Greenville, S.C., NSCS distributes construction products to commercial and residential general contractors and subcontractors across the Southeast.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Founded in 1981, NSCS specializes in concrete and masonry accessories, rebar and wire mesh, tilt-up construction, and waterproofing materials, in addition to other construction products.
Along with its branch in Greenville, NSCS operates locations in West Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Hardeeville (Hilton Head Island/Savannah, GA), S.C.; Charlotte, Greensboro, and Garner (Raleigh/Durham), N.C.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Jacksonville, Fla.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022 and American Contractors Supply will operate under the New South Construction Supply name.
Upon the close of the deal, Jason Reuter will assume the role of division president of tilt-up, and Ron Barteski will assume the position of division vice president, operations, of tilt-up. Together they will lead all tilt-up activities for New South Construction Supply.
