‘Business Excellence’ and ‘Rising Stars’ will be honored at the Chicago event.
3/14/2023

The 2023 Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply will return to Chicago for the third consecutive year. The goal remains the same: to recognize and honor women who are making and have made their mark on the industry, and to support the next generation of women leaders.

Candidates will be selected in two categories:

Rising Stars: This award recognizes a talented professional with the potential to make a significant positive difference within her company and within the industry for years to come.

Business Excellence: This award recognizes a leader who has demonstrated achievement, growth and success in the hardware and home improvement industry; embraced education and community service, and inspired others to follow a similar path.

The official nomination form is here.

The 2-day awards celebration includes a networking cocktail reception, dinner ceremony, and a second day full of educational panels lead by women who are experts in their field. In addition, all Top Women will be recognized in the November/December issue of HBSDealer magazine.

“Our team continues to be grateful for the incredible support that retailers and suppliers have shown for this program,” said Amy Grant, associate publisher of HBSDealer. “And it’s not only for the two days we gather together in Chicago. This is a year-round effort for us to support the mission of gender equality in our industry.”

Nominations for the 2023 Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply are due by June 15.

The 2023 Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply event will remain in Chicago in 2023, but will move to a new downtown location at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk Nov. 8-9.

“The energy levels for our two Chicago events has been through the roof,” said HBSDealer Editor in Chief Ken Clark. “That’s fitting, because we know there are many more glass ceilings to break. This event belongs to everyone in the industry–men and women--and we’re proud to play a role.”
