This wrench does double duty

Crescent, the hand-tool brand of Apex Tool Group, expanded its wrench line with a new combination product.

The new 10-inch Locking Adjustable Wrench provides the versatility of an adjustable wrench and gripping power of a locking plier.

“The jaw of this new wrench is able to grip fasteners tightly, allowing users to ensure a good seal or remove fittings,” said Marisa Stephenson, product manager – shaping, fastening, and striking construction tools. “Mechanics and plumbers will appreciate the quick release handle with dual material comfort grip." She also claims it works on corroded fittings.

Users often need amplified gripping power for both tightening and loosening rounded fasteners in confined locations. The 10” Locking Adjustable Wrench provides the increased adjustability necessary to squeeze different shapes and sizes, the company said.

The new wrench has an anti-slip adjustable jaw with a 1-5/16” maximum opening.
