Woman uses child to steal copper wire
A woman was arrested in Fort Myers, Fla., for allegedly stealing four coils of copper wire from a Home Depot store, according to a report on WVZN-TV.
Amber Jones, 26, was confronted outside the store by an employee who said he saw her tuck the wire under a baby blanket next to a child, who was in a car seat.
The four rolls of copper wire were worth a combined $318.46.
Jones, who was charged with grand theft, had stolen copper wire from Home Depot stores in the past, according to the report.
