Weyerhaeuser makes some leadership appointments

2/20/2018

Effective January 1, Weyerhaeuser Company has named Devin Stockfish to the role of VP Western Timberlands, and Kristy Harlan was named senior VP, general counsel and corporate secretary.

Harlan will be taking over for Stockfish, who currently serves as senior VP, general counsel and corporate secretary. In his new role, Stockfish will lead the company's Timberlands operations in Washington and Oregon, reporting to Rhonda Hunter, senior vice president of Timberlands.

"Devin is a proven leader who has been instrumental in transforming Weyerhaeuser into a focused timber, land, and forest products company," said Doyle Simons, president and CEO. "This move will further expand Devin's operations expertise, and our Western Timberlands operations will benefit from his strategic insights and ability to deliver results as this business continues to sustainably meet the needs of our customers and drive value for our shareholders."

Meanwhile, Harlan joins Weyerhaeuser from the law firm of K&L Gates LLP, where she is a partner focusing on corporate, securities and business-related transactions. In her new role, she will lead the company's Law department. Harlan will join the company as a senior vice president effective November 28, and assume her new role as general counsel and corporate secretary on January 1. She will report directly to Simons.

"Kristy's extensive legal and business expertise will be a great asset to Weyerhaeuser," said Simons. "I'm looking forward to the energy and insights she will bring to our legal team and to the company."
