Westinghouse relocates to Western D.C.
Westinghouse Lighting has relocated its California distribution center to Chino, Calif., to better accommodate customer needs and cut leasing expenses by 41% in its first year, the company said in an announcement.
The new facility, an energy-efficient, 137,523-sq.-ft. building, will replace its Santa Fe Springs warehouse in the Los Angeles area. Additional features include a 30% storage capacity expansion to help increase fill rate, improved inbound and outbound material flow to process orders faster, and upgraded dock access including 22 illuminated dock doors. The distribution center is also positioned strategically in a growing California transportation corridor.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., Westinghouse Lighting makes more than 5,000 products, including light bulbs, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans and decorative lighting hardware.
