West Fraser curtails sawmill production

Vancouver, British Columbia-based West Fraser has announced additional lumber production curtailments at three of its B.C. sawmills.
The company is planning market-related curtailments at each of its Houston, 100 Mile and Chasm sawmills. The three facilities will be shut down for at least two weeks starting June 29.
West Fraser will restart operations depending on market conditions, which it will review on a weekly basis.
