Werner adds to its safety lineup

2/20/2018

Werner, a manufacturer known for its ladders, rolled out a ProForm F3 Harness line with a patented relief cord system. The Greenville, Pa.-based company calls the product "industry-changing."

The new harness allows the user to relieve pressure on femoral arteries and pressure on the clavicle. Here's how the company explains the harness in action: "In the event of a fall, workers wearing a Werner ProForm F3 Harness can simply pull the patented relief cords to adjust the built-in seat and achieve the ‘Gravity Override’ position, reducing the potential hazards of suspension trauma."

The harnesses are also designed for greater comfort and performance for strenuous work environments, the company said. Built-in features such as the dual back pad, self-retracting-lanyard bumper and gear loops keep professionals functioning with maximum comfort and productivity on the jobsite.

On the topic of job-site safety, Werner says it trains more than 25,000 end users at more than 150 Safety Stand-Down events around the country.
