Weekes Forest Products buys Snavely Forest Products
Weeke's Forest Products, the St. Paul, Minn.-based building products distributor, has acquired Snavely Forest Products.
Snavely operates facilities in Pittsburgh, Pa.; Westminster, Md.; Greensboro, N.C.; Dallas, Texas; and Denver, Colo. while specializing in the distribution of engineered wood products, decking, cladding materials, building envelope and pine products.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018.

Weekes operates distribution centers in St. Paul; Fargo, N.D.; Green Bay and Jackson, Wis.; Riverdale, Ill.; Comstock Park, Mich.; and Tampa, Fla.
“The footprint of the Snavely distribution centers is a perfect extension to our own with zero overlap,” Le Vere said. Combined, Snavely and Weekes will service 17 states with lumber and building materials.
Weekes said it will retain the Snavely brand and logo going forward. name and quality image going forward.
