WD-40 recognized for corporate culture
WD-40 Company has been recognized as a "Most Freedom-Centered Workplace" for 2015, according to WorldBlu.
"We are honored to be recognized by WorldBlu," said Stan Sewitch, VP global organizational development. "At WD-40 Company, we consider our people to be our most valuable resource. Many years ago we set out to create and sustain a culture that would consistently promote meaningful work life and high employee engagement. Today's acknowledgment tells us we are on the right path, even though we know we have a lot more work to do."
WorldBlu is a global organization focused on democratic design and leadership. Its annual list of Freedom-Centered Workplaces, published annually on "Freedom at Work Day," includes 26 organizations this year.
The winning organizations embodied a wide range of sizes, spanning five to 65,000 employees and representing over $15 billion in combined annual revenue.
