AZEK Building Products has launched a new Deck Designer Tool with enhanced visualization capabilities.
Powered by Marxent’s 3D platform for products and spaces, VisualCommerce, the Deck Designer helps users create, revise and save as many interactive designs as they want before making a final purchase decision.
The app also provides an extensive array of design options to play with, viewable in a variety of 3D environments. They can also receive a list of required tools and construction tips, a deck part identification glossary, components and materials cut list and an installation checklist.
“AZEK and TimberTech are natural choices when investing in a new, high-performance deck made with premium materials,” said AZEK Building Products CMO Julia Fitzgerald. “By giving homeowners the ability to visualize all the design possibilities including lighting, railings and color choices, customers have greater confidence in their decisions and walk away with more satisfaction in the final product.”
The new platform builds on the success of the company's existing apps to provide more intuitive design tools. Users can use the design tool in the latest version of their web browser at home, or download the app to visualize their deck on their mobile phone or tablet while on the go.
“The customer experience behind the AZEK Deck Designer is forward-thinking and innovative, with sleek, photo-real graphics making it possible for users to see their design choices up-close,” said Beck Besecker, CEO and Co-Founder of Marxent. “It’s a great example of how advanced 3D product visualization is designed to help contractors communicate and estimate projects for homeowners, all with the end goal of helping buyers to have total confidence in their product choices.”
