Viance makes management moves
Viance, the wood preservation specialist, has appointed Aaron Sooter to the position of customer service manager and Dave Jones to the role of national account manager/environmental health and safety (EH&S) specialist.
Sooter began his career in 2005 as a research technician with Chemical Specialties, now Venator Materials. Aaron then moved to the role of technical services project representative with Viance and most recently served as regional account manager in the central and southern United States. Sooter will be responsible for managing customers’ orders and truck and rail transportation logistics.
Jones joined Viance and Venator Materials in 2000 as technical services and EH&S manager and managed some of the company’s largest customers for the past 14 years. Prior to joining Venator Materials, Dave spent 19 years in the hazardous waste and environmental services industry, of which the last five were directly related to servicing the wood preserving industry.
“Both Aaron and Dave have long tenures with Viance and Venator Materials. Aaron and Dave’s deep customer experience will continue to provide expertise and excellent service to our customers,” said Brian Delbrueck, Viance director of sales.
Based in Charlotte, N.C., Viance produces an extensive range of advanced wood treatment technologies and services to the global wood preservation industry.
