Valspar boosts spray-paint offering at Lowe’s
Valspar is introducing two new aerosol paint options at Lowe’s.
The idea behind the introduction, make it easier for home owners and DIY enthusiasts to conquer their decorative painting project.
"With these new product introductions and assortment upgrades, Valspar is putting the power of paint and its transformative qualities in the hands of DIY consumers more than ever before," said Mike Wells, general manager, Aerosols at Valspar. "Whatever their level of painting proficiency, those who want to take on a project – small scale or large – will find the inspiration and confidence needed with these time-saving, easy-to-use, economical solutions. It's an assortment created to make decorating fun and simple."
Valspar says the new spray-paint products make it easier for people to create impressive decorative effects that typically require costly specialty products and extensive labor and expertise.
New Milk Glass and Chalky Finish sprays join an assortment that includes two general-purpose lines, Color Radiance and Project Perfect, plus Outdoor spray products. With a wide array of finishes and hues covering a range of materials from metal, wood and glass to ceramics and wicker, the line offers consumers the right product for nearly any interior or exterior project.
In addition to the two new products, Valspar has updated its spray paint formulations and product packaging for increased effectiveness and functionality, the company said. The products have an improved patented spray top featuring a twist and lock design that prevents overspray and eliminates lost caps, and the packaging's product education has been revised based on insights from recent consumer studies and user feedback.
Last month, Sherwin-Williams announced a deal to acquire Valspar.
