TruGreen and Scotts LawnService wrap it up
With the merger between TruGreen and Scotts LawnService now complete, the new lawn care company is bringing its combined heft to the spring lawn and garden season.
With more resources, local experts, enhanced service and innovation, TruGreen is expanding its services in lawn, tree and shrub care to approximately 2.3 million residential and commercial customers across the U.S. and Canada.
In charge of the newly combined company is TruGreen president and CEO David Alexander. Jim Gimeson, former president of Scotts LawnService, will service as COO. John Compton, a Clayton, Dubillier & Rice (CD&R) operating partner and former PepsiCo president, will continue to serve as TruGreen's chairman.
The new entity will operate as a privately held company under the TruGreen brand and remain headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.
