Trex celebrates 25 years
The composite decking manufacturer recognizes 12 employees who have been there from the start.
Trex Company, the manufacturer of composite decking, is celebrating its 25th anniversary and recently recognized 12 employees who have been with the company since its inception.
A ceremony was held at the company’s manufacturing facility in Winchester, Va. The first composite board rolled off the Winchester production line in 1993. Manufactured from 95% recycled content, Trex’s innovative material introduced an eco-conscious, low-maintenance alternative to wood decking that quickly took the market by storm.
Today, Trex is the global leader in wood-alternative decking with the largest market share in North America with its products sold in more than 61 countries and more than $640 million in annual sales.
Trex employees who were recognized at the ceremony are:
