Travis Lewis named CEO of Rug Doctor

Travis Lewis is the new chief executive officer of Rug Doctor LLC, the Plano, Texas-based maker of the eponymous carpet cleaning machines.

"Travis is a proven leader who has demonstrated an ability to drive growth in mature companies by building collaborative, high-performance teams, challenging conventional wisdom, and leveraging technology to create meaningful business value," said acting CEO and board member Jack Shields. 

Lewis was previously the president of technology company Inmar, Inc. He has also worked in various leadership capacities for The Home Depot, McKinsey & Company, and Procter & Gamble.

Rug Doctor has also recently appointed James Foster to the role of executive VP sales and Janet Valentic to the role of chief marketing officer.

Foster has held executive sales roles at Delonghi, Phillips Consumer Lifestyle, General Electric/NBC Universal and Gillette.

Valentic's background includes senior marketing roles at Scotts MiracleGro Company, Young & Rubicam Brands, Ford Motor Company, and Leo Burnett Advertising.
