Therma-Tru names new president
Therma-Tru Corp., the fiberglass entry door manufacturer and a subsidiary of Fortune Brands, has named Fenton Challgren as company president.
Challgren will report to Brett Finley, former president of Therma-Tru Corp. and current president of the newly formed FBHS Doors & Security segment.
“Fenton joined us in December and has had a positive impact on the organization. I look forward to his continued success in this new role,” said Finley.
Challgren joined Therma-Tru in December 2017 as vice president, business development. Prior to joining Therma-Tru, he was the president of Sipi Metals Corporation. Before that, he spent 9 years at IDEX Corporation, where his last role was president of chemical food and process platform. In this role, he directed 9 manufacturing plants and 3 commercial offices, overseeing operations, sales, marketing and business development.
“I’m looking forward to leading this innovative organization. We have a great core of products, customers and suppliers and I can’t wait to work with them to grow our business,” said Challgren.
Headquartered in Maumee, Ohio, Therma-Tru manufactures entry and patio door system solutions, including decorative glass doorlites, sidelites and transoms, and door components.
Fortune Brands Home & Security, brands include Moen, MasterBrand Cabinets, Therma-Tru entry door systems; Fiberon composite decking and railing products, and and Master Lock and SentrySafe security products under The Master Lock Company, among others.
