There’s an App for That: door design

Have you ever wanted to show customers how their glass options will look when they are incorporated into the door design? Now there’s an app for that.

Tampa, Florida-based Masonite International launched its Masonite Front Door App. It allows homeowners, builders and remodelers to view available glass options for entry doors while on the go using iPhone or iPad.

Customers can get a jump on selecting their glass before they go to a dealer, said Todd Apple, director of channel marketing for North American Residential at Masonite. The app also reduces the amount of glass inventory a dealer needs to display in their showroom, he said.

“We want to provide our customers with a research tool that allows them to see what type of doors and glass are available without leaving the comfort of their home or while they’re on the go,” said Apple.
