Tennessee Lowe’s locations suffer tornado damage
Multiple Lowe’s locations in the Nashville, Tenn. area were damaged after a devastating tornado ripped through the region on March 3.
The EF4 tornado killed 25 people, including 18 lives lost in Putnam County. Winds from the storm peaked at 175 miles per hour.
Following the storm, Lowe’s held community outreach events in areas impacted by the tornado. Lowe’s provided blue buckets that contained supplies as well as meals for those in need.
The Lowe’s location in Lebanon. Tenn. remains standing, but its massive sign was ripped from the building exterior and sprawled across the parking lot.
All three Lowe’s stores that were damaged by the tornado have remained open, allowing customers to access cleaning supplies and generators for a recovery effort, the retailer said.
