TCP hires former GE executive
TCP Inc., the Cleveland manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting products, has hired Jim Connolly as its new senior VP retail division. A 24-year veteran of General Electric (GE), Connolly’s experience includes management assignments in retail sales, marketing, product development and business strategy. Most recently, Connolly was the general manager for GE’s consumer and industrial lighting division, where he was responsible for leading its retail/consumer lighting business group, overseeing sales and marketing activities in the food, drug, hardware, office and home center market channels.
TCP makes and markets a variety of energy-efficient lighting products, including compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), LED lamps and fixtures, cold cathode lamps, exit and emergency lighting, HID, decorative and outdoor fixtures.
